Maple Hardwood
Description
Maple hardwood (also known as Rock maple, or sugar maple) is a beautiful, dense, strong wood with excellent durability and machining properties.
In color and appearance, the heartwood (closer to tree center) can range from a dark reddish-brown depending on the region the tree grows in. Whereas, the sapwood (closer to tree bark) is white in color, but may have a slightly red or creamy hue.
Hard Maple wood typically has a straight grain, but main display some curves or waviness. Hard Maple also has a very fine even texture.
