Chipboard - Single Ply (Black)
Black Single-Ply Chipboard is made from recycled paper. It’s the least expensive solid material for prototyping.
Our chipboard is 14 plies, or about 0.042 in (1.2mm) thick. It’s uncoated and smooth on both sides.
Laser cutting chipboard is no problem. The color varies somewhat from batch to batch due to the differences in color of the recycled paper from which chipboard is made.
Black chipboard is great as a mounting board or art board and is often used as one or more base layers and for presentations.
